Getting right with God is the easiest thing in the world - He has taken every step but one for you. Your sins and failure to obey God's laws even once cause you to live in a state of separation from God and under the certainty of future judgement for them. Jesus died on the cross and took the punishment for your failure to live right on Himself so that God's forgiveness can be released into your life. See, Jesus' death was for you - by accepting it you are put right with God as a gift, and will never again face the judgement of a God Who will enforce justice for all humanity. God's great love caused Jesus to lay down His life for you and provide the way of escape. Through Jesus you are freed from a life of trying to keep a list of rules and regulations, and find the freedom to relate to God in a personal way as Father - He wants you in His family and has done all he can to accomplish this. All you need to do is respond and say 'yes' for a brand new start in life. Here's how: pray

This is not a light step - He's the Lord Jesus Christ :

Jesus means 'Saviour, He saves you from your sins

Lord means 'boss' - you must turn over your life to Him and let Him be in charge

Christ means 'Anointed One' - He comes into your life by the Holy Spirit to give you power to live right
